Townies like Bo proactively file your client mail, brief you before every client call, and write up every working session.

Meet your Townie

Your un four engagements out of one inbox, and every client expect to feel prioritized. Keeping it that way is a second job: the status you reconstruct every Friday, the follow-ups you track in your head, the hours of admin nobody bills for.

Your Townie learns each engagement the way a new hire would, and gets better the longer you work together. It holds the thread across every client and takes on the wrapper around the billable work: the sorting, the drafting, the chasing down. Nothing reaches a client until you approve it.

AI that learns you.

Your Town Wiki is a single place to see everything your Townie has come to understand about you. It’s a living synthesis of your profile, your work habits, and your preferences.

Bo wrote your wiki and hopes you like it.

Overview

Iris Delacour is the founder and principal of a boutique advisory practice. She advises foundations and mid-market operators on strategy and governance, running four engagements at once with one associate, June Nakagawa, beside her. Each engagement is laid out in Projects.

There is no CRM and no ops team behind her; the practice runs on her inbox, her documents, and what she carries in her head. Her longest-running engagement is with Tomas Herrera, whose family foundation has been a client for years.

Every client gets the same experience: prepared, responsive, on top of every detail. This page holds the machinery behind that, the part that used to live only in her head.

How she works

Iris keeps Monday mornings for working on the practice rather than in it, and stacks client sessions midweek. Friday ends with a status digest for every active client: highlights, priorities, and asks, with June Nakagawa copied so she has the full picture without inbox access.

Every session ends with the next steps logged against the right engagement in Projects, and she reviews each entry before it lands, because her name is on the work.

She writes the way she advises: warm, plain, and always ending on the next step. Every draft that carries her name waits for her review before it goes anywhere.

Tomas Herrera Good session today. Can you recap where we landed? 1h

June Nakagawa Notes from the call are in the folder. 45m

Hi Tomas, Good session today. We landed on the two-committee structure, with the family council keeping the final say on grants. I’ll have the revised charter to you by Thursday, and June is sending the notes around today so your board sees them first. If it would be useful, I can walk your board through the changes on their next call. Just say the word. More soon,
Iris

Bo is drafting your follow-up

The follow-up is drafted before you’re back at your desk. Your Townie drafts the recap the way you’d write it: what was decided, what you owe, and what you need from them. Nothing sends until you say so.

A client reschedule stops rippling through your week. When a session moves, the clash surfaces with vetted alternatives, and the rest of the engagement stays where you put it.

Because your Townie knows every engagement, every client, and how you write, they take on the unbilled wrapper around the billable work: the sorting, the status updates, the chasing down. You can also teach them new tricks.

Every Friday, draft a status update for each client from their email threads.
